AEDC Worker Yusuf Ibrahim Kadimu Tragically M#rdered in Lafia

Tragedy struck in the Tudun Kauri area of Lafia, Nasarawa State, as an employee of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), Yusuf Ibrahim Kadimu, was reportedly m#rdered late Tuesday night.

According to eyewitnesses, the 37-year-old was discovered lying face-down in a pool of blood, with deep injuries all over his body. His body was found close to the INEC office, near the Nasarawa Broadcasting Service (NBS) premises.

It is believed that Yusuf may have been attacked by people he was trying to help. Sadly, they allegedly turned on him, assaulted him, and made away with his motorcycle.

His identity was not immediately known until his family members arrived at the scene and confirmed it was him.

Speaking to reporters, his uncle, Umaru Kasimu, condemned the brutal killing and called on security authorities to act fast. “This is a tragic and senseless loss. We demand justice,” he said.

As of now, the Nasarawa State Police Command has not released any official statement regarding the incident.
