Tragedy in Kano: Man Arrested for Allegedly K!ll!ng Sister’s Boyfriend During Visit
A heartbreaking incident occurred in Kunya Village, located in Minjibir Local Government Area of Kano State, where a young man has been arrested for allegedly taking the life of his sister’s boyfriend. The incident reportedly took place on the night of Friday, May 9, 2025, at around 9:30pm. According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the victim, Sulaiman Musa, had gone to visit his girlfriend, Fiddausi Umar, who happens to be Mansur Umar’s younger sister.
During the course of the visit, things took a tragic turn. The statement from the police says that Mansur Umar allegedly attacked Sulaiman Musa by striking him on the head with a stick. The blow caused a serious head injury, which left the young man unconscious.
After the attack, Sulaiman was immediately rushed to Kunya Cottage Hospital by concerned individuals. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later referred to the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital in Kano for advanced medical attention.
