Deadly Bandit Attack Hits Farmlands in Zamfara, Claims Three Lives




On April 23, 2025, armed bandits launched a deadly attack on farmers working on the outskirts of Damaga and Gamagiwa villages in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, tragically resulting in the deaths of three individuals.

According to reliable sources, including security analyst Zagazola Makama, the attack occurred around 11:18 a.m. as the farmers were busy cultivating their fields. Without warning, the assailants opened fire, killing three victims on the spot.

Following the incident, troops under Operation Fansar Yamma were immediately alerted and responded to the distress call. In the aftermath, security patrols and surveillance in the affected area have been significantly increased as authorities continue efforts to restore safety and prevent further violence.
