Tragedy in Kano: 18-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Allegedly Murd3r!ng Her Husband

 

In a deeply disturbing incident that has sent shockwaves across Kano State, the police have confirmed the arrest of an 18-year-old woman, Saudat Jibril, for the alleged murder of her husband, Salisu Idris. Police spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, provided a detailed account of the Command’s response:

“Upon receiving the report, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, swiftly deployed a team of detectives to the scene,” Kiyawa said.
“The suspect has been apprehended and is currently in custody at the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Homicide Section.”

The arrest was made within hours of the incident as officers moved quickly to secure the crime scene and gather initial evidence. Police officials have confirmed that Saudat Jibril will face charges of culpable homicide once preliminary investigations are completed.
