Man Punched to Death During Argument Over Right of Passage at Lagos Lounge

 




A 46-year-old man named Philip Ogbuehi has been apprehended by the police in connection with the tragic death of an unnamed individual following a heated argument over a right of way at a lounge located in the Ogidan Sangotedo area of Lagos. The unfortunate incident occurred on the evening of May 6, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m., during a disagreement between Ogbuehi and the deceased.

According to a statement from the Lagos State Police Command, the confrontation between the two men quickly escalated, leading to Ogbuehi allegedly punching the victim in the chest. This powerful strike caused the victim to immediately lose consciousness, prompting immediate action. The victim was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of healthcare professionals, he was later confirmed dead.
